Where can I find event updates?

ASHG will post important announcements and schedule updates in the app under “News Feed.”

How do I adjust the text size on the online planner?

To make the text larger, hold CTRL and the plus sign (+). To make the text smaller, hold CTRL and the minus sign (-). You can employ this trick for most any program on your computer to adjust the text size to your preference.

I am having issues finding someone in the Attendees directory or messaging them. Why are they missing?

The Attendees directory is an opt-in list, meaning attendees will only show up on that list in the app if they have chosen to turn that feature on in their app settings. To respect GDPR guidelines, attendees do not automatically have that option turned on and they must turn it on themselves if they wish to be visible in the directory.

Can I login to the mobile app with an exhibit staff or exhibit guest registration?

No. Anyone may download the mobile app and review the content therein, but only people registered with scientific attendee badges will be able to login to the app to save schedules, see the opted-in Attendees directory, etc., using the same email address and login they used to register. This is a different login than any exhibitor portals used by your company’s exhibits team.

I am attending on behalf of an exhibiting company and I have a scientific attendee badge. Can I use the Attendees directory in the app to promote our booth, request or schedule sales meetings, and/or send other promotional messages?

No. The Attendees directory is for networking only and is not intended for promotional use before, during, or after the Annual Meeting by attendees or exhibitors/sponsors.
