Registration is for the full meeting; there is no one-day or exhibits-only registration.

- Continuing education credits (CME, NSGC, CBGC, and P.A.C.E.®). A list of approved sessions and the number of credits available will be announced later. You are required to register for the meeting and pay a separate fee to apply for CME, NSGC, and CBGC credits. P.A.C.E. ® credits do not have a separate fee.
Pre-meeting and other events
In addition to the programming included with registration, there are multiple opportunities to gain additional insights and hands-on learning through workshops, short courses, and other events. These programs require additional fees and can be added to your Annual Meeting registration during checkout.
Continuing education credits and contact hours for physicians, genetic counselors, and clinical lab professionals can also be added when processing your meeting registration.
You must have an Annual Meeting registration to purchase events or continuing education products.

Other Registration Details
Guest Registration
A guest is a non-scientist family member (18 years or older) or guest of a registered scientist. Guest registration includes a badge and access to ASHG 2026 solely for observing the registered scientist’s presentation and/or visiting the exhibit hall.
Guest registration is a one-day pass available for $55 and may only be purchased onsite by an attendee who has purchased a full meeting registration. Guest registrations cannot be purchased in advance or without an accompanying full registration.
Please note the following restrictions:
- Guest registration is valid for one day only.
- Access is limited to the date printed on the guest badge.
- A guest may only be registered once during the annual meeting.
- A maximum of two guests may be registered per fully registered attendee.
- Guests are admitted to scientific events (including poster sessions and the exhibit hall) only on the day indicated on their guest badge.
Payments & Invoices
- Payment must be made by credit card only (AMEX, MasterCard, Discover, Visa).
- No wire payments, faxes, checks, purchase orders, or onsite cash.
- Invoicing is not available.
Meals at ASHG 2026
There are no meals, snacks, beverages, or other refreshments provided as part of the Annual Meeting registration.
Any sponsored coffee or refreshments provided at the Annual Meeting will be available in limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis at the sponsoring organization’s discretion. ASHG encourages attendees to plan to purchase from concession stands, convention center shops, or nearby restaurants.
Registering on Someone Else’s Behalf
You will need the intended registrant’s ASHG login credentials to register on their behalf.

Sold Out Add-ons/Ticketed Events
Sold-out ticketed events cannot be moved to a larger room. There is no waitlist if someone cancels their registration. Tickets cannot be transferred. We recommend registering as early as possible to secure your spot.
